Iberia: Languages and road signs

If you’re driving along the many highways and roads in our forthcoming Iberia DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2, you will be able to see many road signs in various dialects spoken both in Spain in addition to Portugal. The most frequent road signs that you’ll see can be found made in Spanish and Portuguese as they are the two main languages spoken on the peninsula. Our teams have designed innovative and distinctive designs, ranging from information signs for the toll gate to speed limits alerts across different regions of Iberia.
However, Spanish and Portuguese aren’t the sole languages spoken across Iberia; There are other languages. Drivers who deliver in our forthcoming DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2 can also expect to see signs using Basque (spoken by people in Northern Spain) and Catalan (spoken in Northeastern Spain). Many of these signs by locals in their native languages are usually followed by a second sign in Spanish to those coming outside of the region. Make sure you be on the lookout for these unique signs throughout Iberia that can convey vital information to you and your driver!

We’re sure many of you are eagerly awaiting the map’s subsequent expansion to launch, and today we’re thrilled to share some information with you. Our teams are constantly improving and polishing the map and are working on the DLC in its entirety. The Iberia DLC could likely be ready to release in April. Unfortunately, we’re not able to announce a precise time frame. However, we’d like to inform you that the end is right shortly!
