Euro Truck Simulator 2 – update progress
In June, we were thrilled to join forces together with DAF Trucks on #StartTheFuture with the announcement of the new version of DAF trucks, the brand new DAF XG, and XGplus within Euro Truck Simulator 2! Our teams put in a lot of effort and were under pressure to present these new models in the shortest time following the official unveiling. Due to the time limitations, we could not create the new DAF simultaneously. We’ve never lost sight of this iconic model, but we knew that we’d need to introduce it to ETS2 a bit later.
We’re pleased to share with you our progress in developing the brand new DAF XF, with a particular focus on efficiency, comfort for the driver, and safety. If everything goes to plan, we’ll look forward to bringing the brand new DAF XF to the streets within Euro Truck Simulator 2 this autumn! Even though our teams are working on the truck model, we would like to share some footage of its development design. We’re looking forward to watching our #BestCommunityEver take on the steering wheel that is the DAF XF!
